The Wallaroo Silo Light Show

Where: Best viewing Is from the Jetty road

When: See times below for current month

The Wallaroo Silo light show begins just after sunset to showcase South Australia’s Copper Coast. Celebrating the unique history, events and supporting local artists.

After the success of the travelling Light Show illuminating the Wallaroo Silos in August 2019, Copper Coast Council has worked to install it as a permanent installation.

The installation in South Australia is the third permanent Silo art projection installation. For the inaugural show, the community was involved to contribute images and photos to bring the silo to life in a display of “Copper Coast through our eyes’.

Each installation presents a distinctively local display combining art and science. Together, the moving images explore creative visions of the future. They can be viewed either on their own as standalone stories or to create one whole inter-connected story.

This art installation runs every night with projection of local artwork and photographs. It launched on the 9th of December 2020 and is still running.

Check out the times below to make sure you don’t miss it.

The current show theme is a ‘Constellation’ a trail of themed activities and stories in light and early delights’.
